What can be washed?

You can wash everyday items, e.g. clothing and underwear, but you can also easily wash blankets, covers, sleeping bags, curtains, pillows, quilts. However, you should check the label on the manufacturer’s recommendations for washing and drying the item.

What can’t be washed?

In our laundry, it is forbidden to wash animal accessories (e.g. beds, blankets, clothing), mops, carpets, work clothes, materials soaked in oils and greases, clothing with metal and sharp accessories.

Can I use my own detergents?

In the laundry at ul. Dąbrowskiego 69, you can use your own detergents. You can also buy a one-time dose of powder and mouthwash on site. In the laundry at ul. Głogowska 48 and Królowej Jadwigi 52, detergents are dispensed automatically, it is not possible to resign from them and use your own means.

How can I purchase a Speed Queen discount card?

The card can be purchased at the payment machine located in the laundry room. The one-time purchase cost is PLN 20. The card works as an electronic purse, which should also be topped up at a payment machine. The card is a bearer card, so it can be lent, for example, within a family or company.

What payments are accepted?

In our laundries, we accept coins (PLN 1.2.5), banknotes (PLN 10, 20.50) and contactless payments. The machine gives change in coins.

What happens if I start washing just before closing time?

The laundries are open daily until 22:00. All paid and turned on devices complete the started cycle. However, after 22:00 it is no longer possible to start any machines and the door is locked and can only be opened with a button from the inside.

How to get a VAT invoice?

In order to receive an invoice, you must send a confirmation of the transaction (receipt from the machine or a statement with card payment) along with the invoice details to the address kontakt@speedqueenpoznan.pl. The invoice is sent by e-mail.
